Last February 02, 2019, Omaha Beach had joined buzz in becoming to be one of the toughest horse racers to beat in the Kentucky derby. Omaha Beach is trained by Richard Mandella where he purposely threads him with full stability so he can join the Kentucky Derby. This horse racer is a son of War Front who has also shown a great performance in his Kentucky Derby days. The tournaments that Omaha Beach has got into before he decided to join the May 4 action is the Rebel Stakes. He competed in Grade 2 category which was held in Oaklawn Park. Following his amazing victory in Arkansas Derby, Omaha Beach has improved his racing odds which made him be on the top list of favorites. His jockey Mike Smith had to make a tough decision this time. This is because Mike Smith was used wot work with Bob Baffert and a regular rider for Roadster and Game Winner. According to some reliable sources, Mike Smith will be decided by the first Saturday of May of which horse racer he’s going to ride.

Actually, last year’s Triple Crown winner which was Justify was also due to Mike Smith. If he will ride either Roadster or Game Winner, this will be the second year that Mike Smith will be working with Bob Baffert.

Although that Mike Smith wills till decide which horse racer he will ride, Omaha Beach’s fate of winning odds hasn’t changed due to the fact he is still foreseen to perform well in the Kentucky Derby. According to most horse racing fans, the Kentucky Derby on May 4 will be dominated by a tight performance of Game Winner, Roadster, and Omaha Beach where these three contenders get the same level of odds score.

Not only that, Omaha Beach latest standings are on top which means that Roadster and Game Winner is behind him. Also, it’s very interesting to look at to the next two weeks odds of Omaha Beach on how he will doing in the upcoming derby. If Mike Smith decides to ride Omaha Beach, a lot of fans sees him be the favorite to win the Kentucky crown and probably sweep the Preakness and Belmont Stakes respectively to become this year’s Triple Crown winner.
